Flight planning according to IFR rules

The bachelor thesis describes the issue of IFR flight planning by analysing the individual phases of an IFR flight. The bachelor thesis includes the introduction of software tools and applications used for the IFR route planning, pre-flight preparation and filling the flight plan. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis present a demonstration of the IFR flight planning procedure by using the IBS RLP system. It is a description of the individual steps in the preparation of a flight from the Brno airport LKTB to the Vaclav Havel airport LKPR.

Air navigation in area of Africa

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to prepare navigation flight over uninhabited areas of Africa. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. First part deals with navigation coverage of inland parts of Africa. The second part is dedicated to preflight preparations and flight performance in uninhabited areas, using comparative navigation and computational navigation. Flight from Paris to Cape Town is suggested in the third part.

The visibility identification on aerodromes in Czech Republic

This work deals with the visibility and its breakdown by weather vocabulary. It discusses the development of RVR systems at airports in the Czech Republic, describes the measurement systems RVR MITRAS, MIDAS IV and history of selected airports. Other chapters describe the possible development of measurement techniques in RVR. The final section is devoted to the categories of runways.

Structure of the airspace of the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of airspace in the Czech Republic. The main objective of the thesis is to propose optimization of the use of certain parts of airspace. The thesis describes the structure of airspace, its management and use. The current structure is compared with the history of airspace in the territory of today's Czech Republic since the beginning of the 20th century. Before the conclusion, the thesis deals with airspace policy, information applications for pilots and points out the problem of limiting pilots of general aviation.
